As a part of the BSc Angiosperm systematics syllabus in 5th semester, the BSc students of the department conducted a field visit to Trivandrum JNTBGRI, Thenmala and Kodaikanal from 28th to 30th August, 2019. Two teaching staff, Mr. Ebin P J and Dr Lesly Augustine accompanied the trip throughout. All the thirty-one students were present for the mentioned tour. This helps the students to understand the field-based plant identification and basics in taxonomic field study.
