As a part of the MSc Taxonomy syllabus in 3rd semester, the MSc students of the department conducted a field visit to Munnar, Kanthalloor, Chinnar Wild Life Sanctury and Indian Cardamom Research Institute (ICRI), Myladumpara on 27 to 30 August, 2019. Two teaching staff, Dr Giby Kuriakose and Mr. Anto Joseph accompanied the trip throughout. All the twelve students were present for the mentioned tour. This helps the students to understand the field-based plant identification and basics in taxonomic field study.
